Google launches significant upgrades to Analytics

Google Analytics has, so far been the industry leader in web analytics. Today, Google launched a huge update to Analytics.

The most noticeable change for many Google Analytics users will be the addition of Right Now. Previously, Google Analytics had a three to five hour delay in reporting traffic coming into a website. The Right Now analytics, however, will track how many individuals are on a website at any given moment, complete with referral sources and event tracking. The tracking also includes how long individuals are on each page.
